Whether you're a cheese connoisseur or a curious newcomer, we are here to help you tailor the perfect cheese selection to suit your tastes and group size. We cut and wrap your cheese to order and gift boxes, cooler bags and ice packs are available in store.

our signature toasties

 Loved by both locals and visitors, our signature toasties have a loyal following. Kat Harvey, with 23 years of cheffing experience, prepares these toasties to order using local produce, superior condiments, and the finest cheeses from our collection.

Each week, choose from two different toasties, including vegetarian options.

Larger groups are advised to call ahead to ensure availability.

cheese tasting workshops

Join us for one of our engaging cheese tasting workshops, typically held every second Friday, in store and lasting between 1.5 to 2 hours. We keep our groups small, with only 5-7 people, to ensure a personal and interactive experience.

 

Led by Kat Harvey - a skilled cheese maker and cheese monger - these workshops feature a conversational style presentation, where Kat shares her deep knowledge of and passion for cheese.

Each workshop begins with a welcome drink to set the mood, followed by a guided tasting of six of our very best cheeses. During the session, Kat will explore various flavour profiles, cheese-making techniques, regional traditions, and the nuances of maturation and aging.

Guests receive a hand-painted cheese tasting zine and use our cheese tasting wheel to help identify flavours and take notes throughout the experience.

cheese towers

Celebrate your special day with a bespoke Cheese Tower as a unique alternative to a traditional wedding or celebration cake.

 

Work directly with Kat to customise your cheese selection to suit your taste preferences and group size.

 

Included is a hand-painted watercolour illustration of your cheese tower providing a cherished keepsake of your celebration.

about Kat

Kat Harvey has over 12 years of experience in the Australian cheese industry, both as a cheese maker and a cheese monger.

 

She trained under some of Australia’s and France's renowned cheese makers, including Paul Wilson (Nimbin Valley Dairy), Ann-Marie Monda, Carla Meurs (Holy Goat), and Ivan Larcher (Long Paddock Cheese).

 

Kat also brings years of valuable cheese retail experience from Formaggi Ocello in Surry Hills.

 

Before her journey in cheese making, Kat was a chef in several top Sydney restaurants such as Bistro Ortolan, Bloodwood, and Astral.
